About Hounty

The Problem

"What makes it hard for you to clean up after yourself?" I asked my youngest. "Mom, I just don't see the mess," she replied.

That was the breakthrough moment. The problem wasn't laziness or lack of motivation - it was visibility. Household tasks are invisible until they pile up, and by then it feels overwhelming.

Traditional chore charts and todo apps become yet another thing to manage. Home maintenance is complex: decluttering, cleaning, groceries, bills, repairs - each requiring different approaches and tools.

The Solution

Hounty (a blend of Home and Bounty) started as a simple photo-based cleaning game and evolved into a comprehensive home management platform.

The cute ghost mascot represents the core idea: making invisible chores visible. What started as a tool for my family has grown through feedback from passionate early users who face the same daily challenges.

I'm building focused tools that solve real problems - one at a time - rather than another bloated app trying to do everything poorly.
